Adult Training Programs

HopeCAT will  prepare adults for careers with vocational training distinctive for our market-based approach. We meet with local hospitals and other institutions to gauge employment needs. Then we work with those employers to develop coursework that prepares students for in-demand careers.

HopeCAT is focused on careers – good paying jobs that include health insurance and opportunities for advancement.

Medical Assistant Adult Training Program

HopeCAT is licensed in the state of Pennsylvania for our Medical Assistant Adult Training Program.  This program offers quality education at no cost to the student.  Comparable to other Medical Assistant programs, HopeCAT's curriculum will have students prepared in just 10 months to work full-time as Medical Assistants and be eligible to sit for a National Certification.

Our Medical Assistant Program provides our students with an excellent education in order to enter the medical field.  The program consists of 9 months of classroom instruction, followed by a 4-week externship at various medical facilities in our community.  Within 10 months, at no cost to our students, you can graduate from our diploma program and sit for a national certification.  We work with our students and our affiliates to place HopeCAT graduates in jobs paying livable wages with benefits.

This program runs from the end of August/beginning of September through June, from 8:30am-2:55pm Monday-Friday.
