Our Medical Assistant Program provides our students with an excellent education in order to enter the medical field. The program consists of 9 months of classroom instruction, followed by a 4-week externship at various medical facilities in our community. Within 10 months, at no cost to our students, you can graduate from our diploma program and sit for a national certification. We work with our students and our affiliates to help HopeCAT graduates obtain jobs paying livable wages with benefits.
This program runs once yearly from late August through June. Classes are from 8:30am-2:55pm Monday-Friday.
Our Phlebotomy Program curriculum provides our students with excellent, skills-based training. While this program no longer stands alone, it has been fully integrated with our Medical Assistant Program. With optional extra hours of externship in a laboratory facility, our MA students are can become eligible to also sit for the Certified Phlebotomy Technician exam, exiting our program double certified.
