With our collaboration with McGonigle Ambulance Service, we aim to provide the region with highly needed EMTs.
The EMT program prepares students for careers in emergency medical services through hands-on instruction and real-world training. Students learn essential lifesaving skills such as patient assessment, CPR, trauma response, airway management, and emergency medical procedures while gaining the knowledge and confidence needed to respond to medical emergencies and pursue certification as Emergency Medical Technicians.
The program runs two cohorts each year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring, and alternates each semester with the Advanced EMT (AEMT) program.
