A graduate of Ohio University, Quinn’s work transforms local plants and animals into surreal ceramic worlds — blending functional pottery with sculptural storytelling. From opossums and moths to pawpaw trees, she reimagines everyday species in unexpected, whimsical ways that highlight the wonder of the natural world. Quinnis adding a wheel throwing class this semester to our Youth Arts Program.
A graduate of Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Emily’s work explores the fascinating relationship between humans and animals — past, present, and imagined. Inspired by fossils, biology, and the wonder of the natural world, she brings creatures to life on canvas in a way that sparks both curiosity and conversation. Emily will be teaching painting, drawing and sculpture throughout our Youth Arts Program!
A graduate of Youngstown State University, Jayme’s whimsical works are inspired by classic children’s book illustrations. Her series follows her beloved cat, Pumpkin, through outdoor adventures with woodland creatures like field mice, frogs, and baby deer. Using mixed media — from acrylic and oil paint to glitter and intaglio prints — Jayme brings playful stories to life on canvas. Jayme will be teaching Painting this year for our Youth Arts Program.
A graduate of Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Matisse creates vibrant ceramic vessels that explore nostalgia, memory, and human connection. With bold colors, layered surfaces, and a respect for craft traditions, her work bridges history and contemporary aesthetics — turning clay into living stories.
